Camden Town Hall Wedding Photography

Katherin is from Germany and Bruno is from Portugal, and have both been living in London for many years, so it probably wasn't a shock for them that the start of their wedding day was raining heavily in Paddington, West London. As I have found through a 100+ weddings, things always get better!

Bride and Groom near Camden Town Hall

As they made their way to Camden Town Hall on Judd Street just opposite Kings Cross St Pancras, it turned into a beautiful day for their wedding. After their ceremony they had hired a old school red London bus to take their friends and family to the wedding reception at The Truscott Arms near Warwick Avenue (which to my horror I have just found out is now closed due to a huge rent hike) where it was time for drinks, laughs, food and speeches.

I have fond memories of this wedding as the two families that were brought together from Germany and Portugal, most had not met before and spent the day getting to know each other. For me, this is what weddings are all about. Obviously it is about the Bride & Groom, but its about the people that the Bride & Groom bring together creating a whole new series of friendships and relationships. Documentary wedding photography captures these little moments between people, rather than just having 400 photos of the Bride & Groom in slightly different poses.

Anyway, enough of my documentary wedding photography rant, congratulations to Kathrin & Bruno!
