One Whitehall Place Wedding

As a London wedding photographer, when a couple gets in contact about a VERY central London wedding venue, I get excited. One Whitehall Place is just a stone’s throw from the Thames (I tried but they wouldn’t let me) and Embankment tube station, it is an amazing space for a wedding. My wife and I even looked at One Whitehall Place as a wedding venue!! (we wimped out at the prospect of a dry hire).

Anjali and Owen’s wedding day was a wonderful affair, with the Bride’s Indian heritage coming together with Owen’s Welsh background. One Whitehall Place’s vast spaces allowed the day to flow and breath, from the beautiful library room for the ceremony to the vast staircase allowing for one of the biggest and most complicated wedding group photos of all time!

After the wedding day, Anjali and Owen sent me these kind words

We hired Matthew to document our wedding day. We were nervous as we’re both pretty camera-shy but Matthew immediately put us at ease when we met before the wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out - they captured the emotion of the day perfectly. The photos prove he was ever-present on the day but he was never intrusive - he blended in really well, only popping up occasionally to give us some direction for the more posed shots.
