Trunkwell House Wedding Photography

Trunkwell House is a beautiful wedding venue located within 34 acres of the Berkshire countryside in the village of Beech Hill, Reading. I was lucky enough to photograph Anita and Ameet's. It was a day filled with so many special moments.

For a photographer, the day was filled with so many amazing traditions and moments to capture. At the start of the day, Anita got ready at Trunkwell house, with her beautiful Henna and exquisite dress producing some amazing photos in colour and B&W. When Ameet arrived at the venue he waited in his car as both sides of the family came together to exchange garlands of flowers. Then came a tradition that I have not seen before and which was great fun. Anita's family formed a barricade stopping Ameet's entrance to Trunkwell house, and as he approached he had to barter for entry. It was such a fun and interesting moment of the day that I loved being a part of.

I won't describe the ceremony in words and let the pictures below do the talking as there were so many special little moments in traditions. Anita looked stunning and Ameet made a very handsome groom.

As the rest of the day unfolded we had food, drink, speeches, and dancing. The dancing has to get a special mention as everyone got involved to make a dancefloor filled with energy. To top the day off perfectly, we were rewarded with a beautiful sunset which allowed me to capture some lovely portraits of the newly married couple.
